The third consecutive collaboration we had with the Department of Communications and the Arts designing their annual report. Every year the DoCA have a theme for their annual report where we are briefed with a new set of branding, design, and communications strategy.
While the goal is to make content accessible, we wanted to elevate them by showcasing featured information through graphics and micro-interactions.
We introduced a variety of animations on the infographics and scrolling effects that make the content more exciting and interactive.
One of the main challenges with these kind of interactions are seamless execution on different devices. We created an abridged version of the animated infographics to serve as an anchor but also as a version to display on mobile devices.
